Volunteers Required!

We have two vacancies: 

1. Meetings Organiser

We need someone to join our friendly committee to be our open meetings organiser (4 meetings a year).  This is in two parts:

a)    booking the hall and contacting the speaker chosen by the committee

b)    picking the hall key up from Chislehurst before the meeting and opening up the hall on the evening of the meeting, at approximately 7pm

The committee meets in the evening, approximately 5 times a year in Bromley or Eltham.

2. Organiser for Safeguarding issues

We need someone to keep the all volunteers CRB checks up-to-date, and to ensure that new and existing volunteers have up-to-date knowledge of Safeguarding issues.  No experience is necessary and training will be given.  This is not an onerous job, and has been combined with the meetings organiser’s job in the past.  Preferably this person would also be a member of the committee, but this is not essential.
