(on the corner of South Street & Court Street Opposite Bromley Fire Station)

Our meetings.

The meeting room will be open from 7:30pm for an 8.00pm start and we finish the formal part of the meeting at around 9:00pm.

This is followed by Question Time and open discussion until 10pm.

We can then vacate the hall and continue chatting in a local pub. This is, of course, for those who wish too.

The meetings are free to everyone, but we ask those of you who are not members of the DABBGL, and who can afford it, to make a donation. This helps fund hire of the room and other running expenses.

The adult group is normally for people over the age of 17, although family members accompanying adults are welcome for some topics.

THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP:

  1. To provide an opportunity for dyslexic adults to meet and share experiences. This group is open to people from all walks of life.

  2. The group aims to:
  • Provide a comfortable and welcoming way for people to explore whether they are dyslexic.

  • Take account of the needs of adults who have newly discovered they are dyslexic and help them get more information about dyslexia or being dyslexic.

  • Encourage people to mix with others with similar ‘wiring’ and experiences.

  • Welcome partners, family members and friends of other adult dyslexics to get further information and to provide appropriate support.

Suggestions from you are welcome.  Please contact Adult Group Co-ordinater Michael E. Corrigan.  Text or call on 07910 597 739, or put “for Michael’s attention” in the Subject Line on email: info@dyslexiawise.co.uk.  All suggestions will be considered.
